About Dawes Avenue School...
Dawes Avenue School was recently constructed in 1998 and sits on the other side of town and houses Kindergarten through 3rd Grade.
DWS School Hours
Regular school days begin at 8:45 am and end at 3:05 pm.
Early Dismissal days begin at 8:45 am and end at 1:05 pm.
2-Hour Delay, school begins at 10:45 am and ends at 3:05 pm.
The District is noted for its diverse population that excels not only academically but also in school-related activities including sports, the arts, and service organizations. The District has been fortunate to have an active Education Foundation that has funded technology programs, mini-grants, and the annual Stokes Trip, investing approximately $250,000 in our schools over the past ten years.
