Second grade is a year of transition and growth, in many areas. With guidance and support students begin to work more independently, handle greater responsibility, enjoy reading for pleasure, and explore social relationships.
It is important that children get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and be prepared for school. All homework should be complete and your child's Agenda signed nightly so I know you are aware of school and classroom happenings.
