    Welcome to the Office of the Somers Point School District's School Business Administrator/Board Secretary. The School Business Administrator provides supervision and leadership to the district in the areas of finance, operations, budgeting, accounting and reporting, accounts payable, purchasing, facility and construction management, food services, employee benefits, insurance and payroll.

    The District’s fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30. Each year the Board of Education and District Administration develop an annual budget, which is approved by the Board of Education each April. The School Business Administrator is responsible for overseeing the administration of the budget and for monitoring the allocation of funds.

    The District is subject to an independent financial audit each year. The audit verifies the District’s compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing school districts and identifies the financial health of the school district. 

    The Somers Point School District remains committed to providing a first-class educational experience to students while remaining accountable to Somers Point's taxpayers.
